This page explains how to delete your Sandbagger Scoring account and what happens to your data. You can permanently delete your account at any time, directly from within the app — no request or waiting period is required.
How to delete your account
- Open the Sandbagger Scoring app and sign in to your account.
- Tap the menu (your name in the top bar).
- Select My Account.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm by tapping Yes, Delete My Account.
Your account is deleted immediately upon confirmation and you are
signed out. There is no additional grace period or retention window for your
personal account data.
What data is deleted
When you delete your account, the following personal data is permanently removed:
- Your name
- Your email address and sign-in credentials (password)
- Your handicap index and player profile
What data is kept
Sandbagger Scoring is a group app. To keep shared results accurate for the other members of your golf groups, the following is retained:
- Scores and round results you recorded in shared group tournaments remain part of those groups' historical leaderboards.
Retained scoring records are kept only as part of each group's shared history and are
no longer linked to your personal account. They contain no contact
information or sign-in credentials.
